The Adjustable knob on the crossover is your High Frequency Attenuation you can adjust your HF or tweeter(Horn) speaker for more or less HF ~ Regards !

Didn't the OP say he has 416-8B woofs?
Those have the 16" frames and are the best of the 416's.

Hook em up and try them. Lower power is best. But anything will work.

I noticed that you listed a 416-8B (8 ohms impedance) with an 802-D (16 ohms impedance) and an N-500D (16 ohm) crossover as system components. It would seem you have an impedance mismatch here that will probably affect the overall sound of the speakers.
